Take stock, Week 7

In the taking stock assignment, I was able to see where I am in the class through the announcements made. There was an announcement showing how many points I should have going into week seven and I was able to notice that I still need to make up a few points so I feel good about knowing what else I need to accomplish.

    This was helpful to me as well. Knowing the exact number and what I’m missing gives me a better view of what I need to focus on in the next few weeks.

For project number 2 I plan on writing about the topic Choose one short story or novel excerpt. Topic research

The project topic I will choose is " "Explore the relationship between elements of the selection. For example: how does setting influence character development?".  The key elements needed for this project will be for me to focus on one element, and how that connects another element and the relationship those two have. I am choosing this topic because I like to see how a story comes toghether through the interaction of different elements. I have found that while all elements in a story are important to move the story along the key elements I will choose from will be setting, character, plot or point of view. upon further research, I think I will explore the relationship between character and setting.

The stock, week 8

The more I review how far I have long in the class the better I feel about it. I am sure that now I am up to date on backing up up my blog post and I have taken stock of where I am in the class. I have read all of the announcements that have been posted and I am on track.
